देहरादून की खासियतें
देहरादून दोग्रास के लिये इम्पोर्तंत जगह है - -इसको को कोई डोगरा अपने सपने में भी नहीं भूल सकता - --
इसीलिए दोग्रास के ४० साल देहरादून में मनाये जायेंगे --
देहरादून हरा भरा है-चरों और पेढ़ पौधे और जंगलात हैं-
देहरादून का मौसम बहुत लाजवाब है --
देहरादून जैसा शहर तो कोई हो ही नहीं सकता--
लोग अपनी जान देने को तैयार थे-
जीपी जबलपुर चोढ़ कर देहरादून के चक्कर में आ गए--
एक अनार सौ बीमार--रमाकांत-संजीव पाहवा--प्रेम कुमार --रमेश वर्मा-जीपी नामदेव -
बस लहू लुहान नहीं हुए ---बाकी सब कुछ हुआ और केवल सपनों में---
सब अपनी अपनी शादी करा कर बच्चे पैदा कर --वृद्ध अवस्था में आ गए लेकिन देहरादून का ख्याल अब तक सपनों में परेशां करता है--
क्या किया जाए?---यह तो इन आशिकों के मरने से ही ख़तम होगा --
जब तक सूरज चाँद रहेगा ---मम्-- तेरा नाम रहेगा---

Variety program--Dehradoon--15thApril2010
Since Variety program is going to be the heart of this event we shall like to prepare it very well and in all its details--
Ramaknat Jindal has to be entrusted the responsibility of Video filming and its relay on Doordarshan--
Mr Jindal will also elaborate and prepare his speech--"Dogra sahib ko kaise bhool jayein??"--He can do additions/deletions so as to give it a modern look and belonging to 2010---and not 1970---
Kamal dhawn has to rehearse his song--"Chitri wale kele"--with music and full band--since this item will be the most helarious and we will have to keep ambulance and doctor handy incase someone laughs his guts out--which is very probable--
In 1970 all of us were very young and if we laughed--ni=othing happened--but at 56 + one can have a Cardiac arrest while laughing or simply be choked by it---
Prem chand's poems will need some changes and addendum---also we shall have to trace him as to where he is now---
GP' cabret will be another item which Doordarshn can televise and earn some advertisement revenue--people should be asked not to throw coins while he is dancing or he will get discouraged and it looks chaep whereas this ITEM NUMBER will be like anyother filmy item song these days in bollywood--
Ashwani mehra is our old Compere from the Music deptt and he would be our compere also--he has to avoid any sexual overtones since this is going to be a serious function---
We have a lot of time and can find out mail-id and mobile numbers of other DOGRAS so that at the final event everybody is there---

2010--Dogras ke 40 years
On 15th of april 2010--please mark on your calendars and we shall all be getting together at dehradoon to commemorate our 40 th anniversary---after 1970--it will be 40 years--
It will be on contributory basis and only men are allowed--No wives--No children---Just a bachelor bash--of all dogras----
We shall stay overnight in a hotel and in the evening a variety program will be there--and followed by cocktails and dinner---
After dinner--GP will present the cabret dance and there will be a snake dance show before we all go to sleep--
GP has very kindly agreed to borrow the dress from hema malini for this evening--
Next show and get to gather will be in 2014--40 years after 1974---Venue will be delhi---
A grand finale will be on 15th april 2020--and it will be held at chandigarh campus!!!!!
So,please mark these dates--15th April 2010, 2014 and 2020---
LET US SEE WHO ALL SURVIVE BY THAT DATE AND THEN THE NEXT GET TO GATHER AND VENUE WILL BE DECIDED.
